The Weymouth Town Charities run an educational trust for young people from the
Weymouth & Portland area and also low cost accommodation for the elderly
people of Weymouth & Portland. The trust is split into two groups of
charities:
 | Provides educational grants to young people aged between 16 and 24 |
| Supports those undertaking apprenticeships |
| Provides pensions to seaman who have sailed before the mast |
| Provides low cost accommodation to elderly residents of Weymouth &
Portland |
| Provides an annual dinner to the elderly persons in its accommodation |
